The African Queen is a 1951 is an American drama film, directed by John Huston. The film starts off when war is declared in Africa, German soldiers start taking over everything. Charlie rescues Rose from the ruins in the African Queen, so they can be somewhere safe away from the war. But Rose has a plan to take the little boat down the wild river, past a German fortress, and onto Lake Victoria. They battle fierce rapids, make repairs to the old boat, and even brave huge thunderstorms as they pull the boat through. But one things is the journey they had, was nothing compared to what it was like in Pirates of the Caribbean.
